Ieri sera ho scritto al G-Man che organizza la Lost Fantasy League su DarkUFO e oggi mi ha risposto! biggrin.gif

Ecco qua tutto:

Hi G-Man!
I'm an Italian Lost fan who couldn't partecipate at the first LFL session, but I liked the idea of your game so much that I made an Italian version of it on an Italian forum where I'm a moderator. I'm writing you to tell you that the game was really awesome, interesting and funny to play, but that it had some "bugs" in it, especially in giving the points (the assignment of them isn't always very clear, and they are not well balanced) and in the team members, because many of the characters chose for the seven groups did not appear with the same frequency of they're "team mates", and some did not appear at all!
I have compiled a list of the characters that might appear in the 5th season dividing them in 5 groups based on the frequency I espect them to appear, more or less. What do you think? I'd like them to be dived in more groups with the same number of characters as you did in the first session of the game but it's not necessary. I'm not also too sure about including Jacob as a character, and the same about Vincent, that I was thinking might be counted as a "point giver" just like the polar bears.
I'd love to know your opinion!
Thanks!

Giovanni

CITAZIONE
Hi Giovanni! Greetings from America!

Sorry you missed out on the Season 4 LFL. We're going to great lengths to make sure that everyone will hear about the Season 5 LFL. Sign-ups will start at the end of June, so keep an eye out for it!

Awesome to hear about you creating a league to follow ours there in Italy. I know there were several forums and groups that followed our points tallies due to missing the registration. Since the Season 4 LFL was the first time we tried anything like this, yes, there were some bugs in the setup. We tried our best to make sure the characters were all just as likely to see action and points as the rest of their group, but we had no idea what Season 4 would bring. That's the tricky part of setting it up without any advnace spoiler knowledge.

I like your lists! Very well thought out and split up in smart ways. DarkUFO and I actually just finished with creating the character groups for next season. We added a lot more characters and split them up according to where they were geographically at the end of Season 4 (on-island, off-island, unknown). The groups aren't all even, but we think we did a good job.

I don't have the list on me at the moment, but I can send it to you if you'd like. That way, if you set up your league again next year, you can have the same groupings we do. We're working on changing around the points categories and how many points each one gets. We are also planning on simplifying the rules so all the points are easy to figure out. We'd like to eliminate as much interpretation of the rules as possible and keep everything plain and simple.

Thanks for the email. I can give you a more specific critique of your lists if you'd like, but I think they're pretty good.

Namaste and good luck!

~G-Man

"There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's own safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Anche io avevo interpretato "Misc. FF/FB" come "Miscellaneous FF/FB", ma mi sembra una cavolata colossale!
